Santa's Belt Buckle and the Moth Finder

Santa's Belt Buckle and the Moth Finder

snowy mountain peak
in my outstretched hand
the landing of an eagle feather

cotton balls never taste sweet
but with mashed potatoes on my glasses
the new kind of Christmas Market

seal burger on ice
bluest blue outside
the first snowflakes

under the dark Helleborus
a hole through the world
thimble word's echoes

knife and heather
a wreath for an angel
gold only for goblins

claret lips and a mistletoe
the trapped moth in the snow globe
